In one of the more anticipated fights of the night, top ranked MMA fighter Jessica Eye (Strong Style MMA/Rootstown) made a statement in her boxing debut, against the 2009 Golden Glove champ Carrie Fiol (Warren BC/Lake Milton). Fan favorite, Brian “The Korean Brawler” Park (West Side BC/Lakewood) seemed to have an off night, as he dropped a close decision to Jimmy Bland (Glennville BC/Cleveland). Park, who offered no excuses on his performance, only mentioned that he would be back, and come September 26th, someone would pay.
