 Cleveland, OH – April 13, 2016 – After 17 straight packed to the rafters, standing room only crowds, boxing returns to Cleveland with “BATTLE IN THE BALLROOM 18”, on Friday, May 20th.


The 10-bout card will take place at the Historic Slovenian Nat’l Ballroom, located at 6417 St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Built by immigrants in 1924, the ballroom was designated a Cleveland landmark in 1984.


“The Historic Slovenian Nat’l Ballroom is an amazing venue to showcase Cleveland’s top talent and we’re thrilled to be back for this event. The crowd is electrifying, and the intimacy of the venue makes everyone feel a part of the show,” said Kincaid.


The complete lineup and undercard bouts will be announced on May 1st. Expect to see fighters from the following gyms, including: West Side BC, GriffonRawl MMA, Empire BC, Raul Torres, Evolve MMA, EB Turner Rec., Valley Forge BC, Rob Berto's BC, TNT Strength, Valley Forge BC, Terminator BC, Team Energetics, M.J. Zone Rec., Cal Crowell Fitness, Strongstyle MMA, Wrestling Factory, and Old Angle BC.


Doors on the evening of the event will open at 6PM with the first bell at 7PM. Adult beverages, food, and refreshments will be available. FREE secure parking is located directly behind the venue.

 Cleveland, OH - March 5, 2011 - Kincaid-Godhard Boxing Promotions in association with the West Side Boxing Club has signed an exclusive deal to promote boxing shows at the "Hisotric" Slovenian Nat'l Ballroom in Cleveland. 


“The “Historic” Slovenian Nat’l Ballroom is a high-class atmosphere venue, with free parking and great food. We’re thrilled to reach an exclusive deal there. The crowd is electrifying, and the intimacy of the venue makes everyone feel a part of the show,” said Kincaid.


Boxing fans today want to see great, entertaining fights at a place where they know these shows will be held on a consistent basis. Shows will be held every January, May, and October. It’s convenient to get to and tickets are reasonably priced, too.


For years we’ve been trying to find a venue like this. The sports fans in Cleveland want a venue to watch boxing on a regular basis. Boxing needs a home in Cleveland and we have it in the Slovenian Nat'l Ballroom.
